Want to help your students keep their brains sharp this summer? Send home these free summer math review sheets! These one-page math sheets include a problem of the day for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.
Math Review: Problem of the Day
While we always want our students practicing math and reading skills over the summer, it can sometimes be too much. After all, kids need summer break, too! That’s why this is a quick, one-page problem of the day that your students can complete in just a few minutes.
Encourage parents and families to reinforce the skill each day. Did students complete a money problem today? Maybe they can find some change around the house to count! Did they work on shapes today? Maybe they can count the number of square, triangles, or circles they find around the house!
Make Math Review Intentional
It doesn’t have to be stressful or incredibly time-consuming. Focus on being intentional for 10-12 minutes. Trust me, it will help tremendously!
