Digital Phonics for First Grade & Second Grade

With our current pandemic, teaching remotely is becoming very common. Plus, we don’t know how long distance learning will last. So, I wanted to create an engaging way for first grade and second grade students to practice phonics skills. That’s why I’ve designed these digital phonics activities!

Even if you’re not teaching remotely, you can still use these digital phonics activities in the classroom. They are perfect to use on iPads, Chromebooks, or computers!

Digital Phonics Platforms

These phonics activities are ready to go on two platforms: Google Slides (can be used in Google Classroom) or in Seesaw. I preloaded all of these activities on Seesaw for you. You can easily click the link and add it to your activity library!

The Activities

For every phonics skill, I’ve created a variety of fun activities. These activities include: word sorts, abc order, reading and matching, spelling, sentence practice, and more! The activities will help ensure your students have engaging, supplemental phonics practice. The variety of activities will also help you differentiate easily for your students!

Take a look at the video below to see the types of phonics activities included! This video shows the activities included in the long a set, but many of the activities are the same for the other phonics skills.
